Mandy Esch was born and raised in Santa Ana, CA.

She started surfing at the age of 13 and didn't even get on a skateboard until 18, on an unusually flat summer.

She quickly became talented and ended up quitting a full-time job to work at the Vans Skatepark at the Block at Orange. Her skills increased by skating before and after EVERY shift at the park.

Her teaching career began with the Vans Clinic and the OP girls Learn to Ride. Connections through these sources led to Mandy's entry into the professional competition circuit.

For the last 2 years she has competed in the World Cup Tour (ranked #1 briefly after winning the trifecta, but wound up #4 due to a knee injury that kept her out of the last 2 events.

Her goal: turn the next generation of groms into rippers!
