On June 21st make sure you celebrate Dad, welcome Summer officially and GO SKATEBOARDING!

While there are no official rules to the day the image on the right will link you to some events planned for that day.

You don’t have to do the events, just skate that day and enjoy the pure enjoyment of skateboarding.

This weekend I got the pleasure of doing the first photo run for our newest team member Johnny Richardson.

Johnny is a local HB skater that was surprisingly very natural.  He is extremely comfortable on the mini ramp and we are looking forward to see what he can do at the parks.

He has some growing room but we are very proud to have him join our great team of skaters.

As some of you may know one of our own is fighting battles in the middle east.

Griffin Turner is active on his 2nd duty to Iraq and is looking forward to a homecoming very soon.

“i cant wait to get back you have no idea, as for my status right now…i am currently a machine gunner in a hummvee and we patrol in and around the city of Fallujah, which 4 years ago was insanely violent, but now has calmed down quite a bit for the most part. there are still attacks every now and then but we get through them and were all anxious to get home. ”

We all wish for a safe return for Griffin and can’t wait to get him skating on home turf again. We will try to provide a full story with Griffin as soon as he gets back.
