The photo was taken during the Hard To Earn, an MFM and FODT collaboration project, world premiere  at the Vans skatepark located in The Block at Orange.

Way to represent, Sam!

(For those that don’t know Sam is a big snowboarder as well, taking top 3 placements in all of his competitions with the USASA for 2009. Sam’s USASA Profile)

costume_contestTime for some fun!

OCSkateboarding is brewing up some goods to give to the person with the best photo of themselves skating in costume!

We will be judging entries through the Month of October and around the first week of November we will be sending a care package of OCSkateboarding goodies to the winner!

Send your jpgs or videos to info@ocskateboarding.com and we will announce the winner in November. We will also be posting the submissions online (as long as they are tasteful.)

Keep skating!

sam1Another nice little session for the kids at Volcom today. Much better crowd and good times by all. Alex W, my 2 groms, and a few others were on hand.

Got a chance to see a new rider and to welcome him to the team… son of CM city council member Katrina Foley, Sam is up and coming. Already a decorated snowboarder, Sam gave us a few runs before we had to ditch out. I am sure we will see more in the future for Sam so keep your eyes open.

ac2Another familiar face, Anthony Carney was ripping it up as usual. Anthony is a class act. He is always friendly, never has a bad thing to say AND ACTUALLY OFFERED TO WRITE FOR US!!! I am looking forward to hearing from him and bringing him out to some events. He is just the kind of guy you can walk up to at a park and say hello.

Keep an eye out for us when we hit the park(s), every now and then I have shirts, stickers, trucks, etc…
